Vanessa has worked in a number of world leading companies in her career. Vanessa has developed a wealth of knowledge for marketing strategies across technology, digital, retail and product divisions from her tenures at some of the world’s leading companies.

She started her career at Nokia, the global communications company. Here she developed a strong knowledge of all facets of marketing, events, and services both on a local and international level. She was then approached to work for T-Mobile in the UK where she was responsible to delivering operational plans and campaigns to establish T-Mobile.co.uk as a new customer touch point channel in the UK market. After 2 years working in UK and Europe, Vanessa returned to Australia to take up a Senior Corporate Marketing role at Westpac Bank Corporation in the Business Banking team.

Vanessa’s love of music inevitably transpired into a position as Label Manager for Capitol Records/EMI, managing the marketing for artists such as Robbie Williams, Shane Nicholson and Vandalism. As the musical landscape began to evolve with the onset of digital, Vanessa was the natural choice to take charge of the newly developed role at EMI of Digital Account Manager, creating digital content plans and initiatives with key retail partners, including iTunes and BigPond.

Vanessa’s was then promoted to the newly created position of Global Account Manager, taking her skills to an international level, responsible for the management, development and maintenance of procedures for content marketing activities for key partners across fixed-line, mobile, new business areas and innovation. Key artists that she personally worked on included Katy Perry, Gorillaz, Missy Higgins, Silverchair, Angus & Julia Stone, Lily Allen, Empire Of The Sun, Goldfrapp, The Cat Empire, Paul Dempsey and many others.
